DIY or Call Us?

There’s a safe middle ground here, and then there’s the part where a homeowner gets hurt.

What you can check safely: with the door closed and the opener disconnected, lift the door manually to the halfway point. It should stay put and move smoothly. If one side drops or the door feels gritty, a roller has failed. You can also sight down the track from inside the garage - look for wheels that sit crooked, wobble, or sit outside the track rail. What we don’t recommend: replacing rollers yourself on a door with torsion springs.
