Meet the Concord Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Concord
We’re the crew that shows up when your garage door won’t budge at 6 a.m. or when you’re staring at a snapped torsion spring wondering if your car’s trapped until Tuesday. Every technician here works under The Haven Standard, which means the same thing it meant when Marcus started this operation in 2015: you see the broken part before anyone quotes a replacement, and you get a flat written price before anyone touches a wrench. Concord’s our home base. These are the people who answer your call, load the truck, and stand behind the work.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner
I started Servo Garage Doors Concord in 2015 after ten years of watching customers get burned by vague phone quotes that ballooned once the truck arrived. The Haven Standard was built to kill that practice. Clause 1 says flat written price, written scope, before any work starts - no exceptions. I still run calls when we’re stacked up, and I personally review every documented photo record before it goes to the customer. My specialty is the fifteen-year-old opener that “had a good run” - I’ll tell you straight whether a logic board replacement is throwing good money after bad, and I’ll show you the worn trolley carriage so you can decide for yourself. Off the clock, I rebuild vintage motorcycles in a garage that’s got its own share of garage door stories.
Danny R., Lead Technician
Danny’s been with us since 2019 and carries our highest call-close rate, not because he upsells, but because he diagnoses fast and explains what he’s seeing without the jargon crutch. He’s certified in high-cycle torsion spring systems and has a particular knack for the older Wayne Dalton torquemaster conversions that are still hanging on in the Dana Estates and Todos Santos neighborhoods. Danny’s the one who’ll point out that your bottom roller is seized before it tracks out the door and dents your car. He keeps a coffee thermos that hasn’t been empty since 2019 and can name every dog he’s met on a service call in Concord.
Marisol V., Senior Installer
Marisol handles our new door and replacement installs from the Clayton Valley to the far side of North Concord. She’s certified in wind-load-rated door systems, which matters more than most homeowners realize until they see what a delta breeze can do to an improperly braced 16-foot door. Before she joined us in 2021, she spent four years with a commercial outfit doing warehouse dock doors, so she doesn’t get rattled by tight clearances or custom jamb conditions. She’ll measure twice in front of you and explain why your headroom determines whether a standard trolley opener will work or if you need a wall-mount jackshaft system. Her tool cart is organized with a precision that makes the rest of us look sloppy.
James K., Service Coordinator
James answers the phones. That sounds simple until you try doing it 24 hours a day with a real person every time, including when someone’s garage door is stuck open at 11 p.m. in the Monument Corridor. He’s been with Servo since 2017 and knows which technician is closest to which neighborhood, who’s got the right springs on their truck for your Clopay model, and whether your “emergency” is a trapped car or a security exposure that needs same-night priority. James is the one who sends the “on the way” text with the technician’s name and photo, and he’s the one who follows up the next day to make sure the documented photo record landed in your inbox. He rides a beat-up road bike to work and knows every pothole between downtown and the Concord Naval Weapons Station.
Trey O., Apprentice Technician
Trey joined us in 2024 after completing a mechanical program in the East Bay. He’s on every call with a senior tech for now, learning to spot the difference between a failed limit switch and a misaligned safety sensor without replacing both just to be safe. He’s already shown a sharp eye for cable drum issues, which is good, because a slipped cable on a 7-foot door with a broken spring is genuinely dangerous work that demands respect. Trey asks the questions customers are thinking but don’t want to sound stupid asking. He lives in Pittsburg and commutes in a truck older than he is.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard travels with us on every truck, but it’s executed locally. Marcus holds the license and insurance for this operation. The documentation system - the photo record, the written warranty, the flat-price scope sheet - comes from Haven, but the voice on your phone and the hand on your door belong to people who live and work in Contra Costa County. We’ve made right on 18,000+ garage doors since 2015 because the standard doesn’t bend for convenience. Clause 4 is why Danny photographs the cracked spring end before he quotes the replacement. Clause 1 is why Marisol writes the full install scope before she drills the first hole. And it’s why James picks up at 2 a.m. when you call (925) 940-6359 with a door that won’t close.
